Hamilton continues environmental remediation

Hamilton Port Authority (HPA) is the current owner of the Pier 22, the site of the former Stelco Rod Mill (now US Steel Canada). Steel products were manufactured at the site for some 40 years until 2004. The site has been the focus of significant attention since environmental assessments began last year.
