Adani adds to laser measures
Lase has equipped two more reclaimers with a 3D laser measurement system at Adani ports in Mundra, India.
The system determines information such as volume, 3D profile and peaks using 3D laser scanners from the LASE 3000D-S-13x Series, which are installed on top of a stacker/reclaimer machine.
In total, two machines have been equipped with laser scanners at Adani, so that three piles can be measured simultaneously.
The laser data information from both machines is displayed on a manager application and the LASE CEWS application software calculates the profile and the volume of the heap precisely.
Information on filling level is transferred to the process control system, which then recognises the removal/supply of material automatically.
Lase is seeing an increasing number of orders in line with an increase in customers automating their stackers and reclaimers at raw material handling yards.
