Darwin study planned

The Australian Federal Government is to commission two studies, worth A$3.2m ($28.1m), into the port of Darwins potential for expansion. One study will look at deepening the port, while the other will investigate berth expansion.

For the first half of 2008 overall, the index registered 13.7 days, which compares with the 22.9 days reported 12 months ago.
