Australian roadmap for port progress
TheBusiness Council of Australia has launched a roadmap forinfrastructure reform, focusing on ports, rail and roads among otherareas.
The council has criticised ineffective federal-state relationships which impede investment, and called for commitment from the major political parties to a comprehensive and coordinated plan of action.
It is campaigning for a number of general economic policies, such as market-based pricing, effective competition and private ownership in contestable segments.
