APM further cements Tanger commitment

APM Terminals in partnership with Moroccos Akwa Group has been awarded the concession to operate Terminal 3 at Tanger-Med II, which has a capacity of 3m teu.

PSA, in a joint venture with local companies Marsa Maroc and SNI, was awarded the other concession, for Terminal 4, which has a 2m teu capacity.

Shipping line Maersk believes that it will handle up to 8m teu in the port by 2013.
