Barloworld expands
Five new big truck designs have been launched by manufacturer Hyster, consisting of three new heavy forklift (FLT) trucks and two new container handlers.
The FLTs span a range of 8-48 tonne lifting capacities and feature a ‘Vista’ cab with improved ergonomics and comfort, low noise levels, a choice of controls and all round visibility for drivers.
Added to the container handling range are a 7-high single empty container handler and eight higher capacity reachstackers.
Meanwhile, Barloworld Handling – the UK’s exclusive distributor of Hyster equipment – has expanded its national service centre in Abingdon and invested in a web-based vehicle tracking system for its 550 service vehicles. The system, fitted to the entire fleet, features live tracking over the web.
