Adsteam adds two
Adsteams Thames and Medway operation has taken delivery of two new Damen 24/11 tugs.
Once deployed, the system will automatically confirm the container load/discharge movements on each of the 14 ship-to-shore cranes in operation.
The Adsteam Warden and Adsteam Harty have been brought in to meet the demands of the growing LNG market on the Medway and is part of the company’s ongoing upgrading of its UK fleet. The tugs have recently finished trials in Vietnam and Rotterdam before being sailed to the UK. These are the second and the third 24/11s to join the UK fleet in the last 12 months, with a further two new tugs scheduled for delivery later this summer.
