Bromma ups safety offerings
Spreader specialist Bromma has tackled the thorny issue of mis-declared container weights head on with a loading sensing system on its twistlocks.
The technology allows Bromma spreaders to identify container overloads, understatement of container weight, and out-of-balance eccentric loads. The load-sensing technology joins Bromma’s TTDS twin-twenty detection system, which enables a crane operator to detect a gap between two 20’ foot containers in a 40’ cell, representing a potentially dangerous lifting situation.
