Mr McLean brings with him more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles in industrial organisations and deep knowledge of engineering related services.

He has worked with global original equipment manufacturers, such as Caterpillar, Case New Holland, Komatsu and Kalmar. He has also been a majority shareholder in two large industrial equipment distributors. Most recently, however, he served as vice president in the Asia Pacific region, successfully developing various Cargotec businesses in Australia, New Zealand and the Oceanic region.

He said: “I am honoured and excited to have been selected to lead this outstanding firm. We have a great culture, the broadest capability in the market and a winning strategy that has enabled us to grow strongly.

“Building further on our success is a challenge I accept with confidence, determination and fierce ambition for the firm. I am passionately committed to placing our clients at the absolute centre of everything we do.

“I am determined to continue Bromma’s momentum based on our differentiated offering, which is resonating so strongly in the market – our unique blend of culture, innovation, diversity and, perhaps most importantly, our adventurous and competitive spirit.”

“With his extensive experience in developing businesses in different markets, Peter will bring additional skills and experience to our already strong management team,” added Olli Isotalo, chairman of the board of Bromma.
