APM TERMINALS CRITICISED IN NIGERIA
Complaints have been made to the government of Nigeria regarding the activities of APM Terminals at the Lagos Port Complex.
According to local operators, the Danish based company is delaying containers for inspection and charging exorbitant demurrage.
The sources said that APM terminals had increased demurrage rates from ?24, even though some operators claimed that delays in clearing containers were caused by the terminal operator.
