BIDS IN FOR TANGIERS
CMA CGM, Evergreen, P& O Ports and APM Terminals have all submitted bids for the concession to run the new 800m long container terminal being built at the Moroccan port of Tangiers.
HPH has also grabbed another four berths in a joint venture with the commercial arm of Shanghai’s port authority, Shanghai international Port group.
Construction, which is being managed by L’Agence Speciale Tanger Mediterranee, is due to conclude in mid-2005, when work on a second box terminal will begin.
