Black mark for Nigerian terminal operators

Senior managers at Nigerias Delta Port Authority have accused private-sector terminal operators Intels, AMS, Julius Berger and Green Leigh of not complying with the terms of their concession agreements at Warri port.

Intels has, they claim, failed to fully fence its facilities at Terminal A and Terminal B, thereby not meeting International Ship and Port Facility Security Code standards.

Furthermore, the claim that not one of the private sector operators has fully implemented agreed infrastructure improvements.

However, both Julius Berger and AMS had beaten traffic levels written into their concessions.
