A dedicated carbon capture solution for ports

Under a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Goltens, a leader in marine and energy services, and GPS, a carbon capture technology specialist, will collaborate on cutting-edge solutions aimed at reducing emissions from maritime ports and industrial facilities.

Standardised solution

The partnership will leverage Goltens’ extensive engineering and retrofit expertise and GPS’s innovative technology to help ports and power plants meet stringent environmental regulations.

GPS’s patented SETH system, which captures emissions from ships docked in ports, will be central to this collaboration.

SETH offers a modular, standardised solution for ports, drastically reducing air pollution without the need for retrofitting or expensive modifications to existing infrastructure.

This technology not only lowers emissions but also provides significant energy and revenue opportunities through waste heat recovery.

With a focus on ports, offshore renewables and carbon capture, this new partnership positions Goltens and GPS as leaders in the push for sustainable industrial operations, paving the way for a cleaner future in key industries worldwide.
