Box operators ignore India rate hike directive
Directives issued by Indias Tariff Authority for Major Ports (TAMP) to the countrys three leading container terminals to cut rates to shipping lines have been ignored.
Those apparently resisting the directive are the Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal, run by DP World, PSA’s Chennai International Terminal, and the Gateway Terminals facility managed by APM Terminals.
All three are said to be seeking a judicially staying order so that they can maintain existing rates.
