Hapag Lloyd quits JNP for Mundra
Hapag Lloyd has announced that as of mid-October it is to switch its Indian West Coast services from Jawarharlal Nehru Port to privately-managed Mundra port.
The decision, which will affect the company’s Asia-Black Sea Express Service, has been prompted by growing congestion.
However, Hapag-Lloyd will continue to call Nhava Sheva with four other services: Europe-Indian Ocean Service (IOS), Indamex (calling at both ports Nhava Sheva and Mundra), China – India Service (CIX), and China – India Express (CIS).
