WATCH: Hyster-Yale works to expedite electrification

Through its Hyster-Yale Nederland BV entity, the company aims to build on recent electrification advances across its big truck and container handling product lines, fuel cell systems and standard product ranges.

Scaling-up commercialisation

The partnership is designed to speed the commercialisation of clean-energy solutions, supporting port electrification efforts by reducing time-to-market while maintaining performance and reliability.

IntegratR’s Innovation Campus in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, will provide a centralised environment for prototype testing, certification, and series-production readiness.

The 17,500 m² campus will feature rare infrastructure, including an electromagnetic compatibility test site, a roll-on/roll-off quay, an outdoor equipment test track, and ultra-high-power megawatt charging alongside hydrogen refuelling.

Designed to replicate realistic duty cycles and logistics trials, the site will support the development of advanced port equipment and electric trucks, with the test track scheduled for completion in 2026 and additional facilities in 2027.

IntegratR is currently powered by two Core Partners – Hyster-Yale and Urban Mobility Systems, part of DEUTZ AG – combining expertise in materials handling and battery-electric drive systems.

The cooperative will officially launch on 23 January 23 2026, in Nijmegen.
