Breakthrough thermal imaging camera emerges in workboat market
EMX Inc. has launched its new EMX MidWatch Marine Thermal Imaging Camera claiming dramatic improvements at an affordable price. The camera is the result of EMX incorporating Raytheons (just acquired by L3) newest sensor core within a durable housing to withstand the harsh marine environment.

Thermal imaging technology has long supported military forces in dangerous night missions such as searching the caves of Afghanistan. In recent years, EMX has become a leader in bringing this technology to the civilian markets for commercial and working vessels. The new EMX MidWatch is designed for security, surveillance and radar augmentation in low-visibility environments on fireboats, tugs, ferries, inflatable boats, harbour patrol craft, cruise ships, large pleasure boats, river barges, search-andrescue vessels, salvage vessels and many other commercial workboats.
