Bromma spreaders in demand

Swedish crane spreader provider, Bromma, has reported a strong start to the year, with a significant amount of STS spreaders on its order intake list, which it says is driven by larger vessels and the increase in productivity across the logistics chain.

Bromma's STS spreaders have proven popular in Europe

The company received orders in North America for five STS45 spreaders to be delivered to Port Newark Container Terminal, followed by another four for Port Tacoma. In Latin America, five STS45 spreaders have been ordered for delivery to TC Panagua, Brazil, while seven have been ordered by Westports in Malaysia.

The STS45 spreaders are particularly popular in Europe, with six of the series ordered for APMT Algeciras, along with one Tandem Quattro. DPW Southampton and Yilport have both ordered six STS45 spreaders, while HPC in the Ukraine, has ordered four.

Bromma has also won several orders for all electric Greenline spreaders. A total of 31 YSX40E and five YSX40 for have been ordered by Westports, 14 YSX45E by Pireaus Container Terminal, 12 YSCS45E by Khalifa Port and eight by the Port of Houston.
