Brommas Tandem Quattro looms
Bromma is readying availability of its new Tandem Quattro spreader. Tandem Quattro can handle four 20 containers. Available lift options include one 40 container; one 45 container; two 40 containers; two 45 containers; two 20 containers; or four 20 containers. Tandem Quattro Spreader weight is 24 tonnes.
Side-shift is also possible on the spreader.
Bromma is to supply Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) with its innovative twin-40/45 telescopic Tandem spreader to be used under a ZPMC container crane with a 75 tonne capacity under the headblock. The initial intention is to utilize the Tandem 40 and 45 concept when unloading the vessels.
Bromma will take overall responsibility for modifying the existing crane with a new headblock, as well as new cabin control features, in cooperation with ABB. Delivery to an HPH terminal in China is scheduled for mid-July. This is the first installation of the telescopic BROMMA Tandem? spreader in Asia.
