Amsterdam shuttle

For the last three months, Rotterdam container terminal operators ECT and APM on the Maasvlakte have been operating an inland shipping shuttle with the Amsterdam terminal CTVrede-Steinweg.

The service makes a round trip three times a week and has a capacity of 156 TEU. The aim of the three partners is to reduce the number of road kilometres, 240 there and back, and the pressure on the Rotterdam terminal gates.
