Bringing stones to Rotterdam

The Yeoman Bontrup, the first ship carrying stones for the hard sea defences for Maasvlakte 2, was unloaded in Rotterdam. The stones come from Bremanger (Norway), about 200km north of Bergen. During the coming two years, a ship loaded with around 90,000 tonnes of natural stone will arrive every two weeks.
