ADM buys in Rotterdam

The sale of the Europoort terminal I of European Bulk Services (EBS) to Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) has been finalized.

However, it may be a short lived phenomenon since Iraq’s main import/export port of Umm Qasr is undergoing refurbishment and is expected to claw back most of this traffic when capable of resuming vehicle imports.

ADM will concentrate more of its European activities on the terminal.
