BIOPETROL THIRD FACILITY IN PIPELINE

It will be capable of handling 9m tonnes of cargo annually, although this will be extended to 15m tonnes depending on demand.

BioPetrol is to build its third production facility, at the Vopak Terminal Botlek Noord in Rotterdam. The plant, scheduled to start up operation in the third quarter of 2007, will produce 400,000 tons of biodiesel and 60,000 tons of pharma-glycerine per year. The Rotterdam facility is to be the twin in technical terms of one in Rostock to open later this year.
