BOULOGNE AT AXIS OF NEW HIGH SPEED SHORTSEA RO-RO SERVICE

Boulogne is to launch a high-speed freight service connecting it north and south to Oslo and Vigo.

Germany’s DVD Bank is also participating in the transaction in syndication.

The operator is still to be named but the new service is to be launched in 2006 with two ships making three round trips weekly, carrying up to 80 trucks and trailers per sailing at a speed of 35 knots.
