Box flow study for Sydney
Sydney Ports Corporation is commissioning a study to find out the origin and destination of the container flows coming into and out of the port.
The analysis will be handled by the Institute for Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Victoria University.
Industry players will be asked to assist providing information for researchers who will seek to discover where containers are packed and unpacked and where deliveries occur from the pack points.
A breakdown of peak, non-peak and weekend vehicle movements around Sydney will also form part of the research.
