Environmentally-friendly tyre

The SC18’s low rolling resistance and low energy consumption means the tyre is both highly economically and environmentally-friendly.

The Continental SC18 has a heat-tolerant compound which aims to ensure a high mileage as well as a smooth and slow tyre wear even in harsh applications.

Its construction and strong sidewalls aim to produce high durability, resistance to damage and a long service-life. The high comfort level is to be increased by the use of rectangular bead technology.

Also on display are the SC8, CSEasy SC20, Continental RV20 and ContiPT18 tyres. Both the Continental SC8 and SC18 use a three layer technology to add to the durability of the tyre. One year after its successful launch at the 2014 trade fair the SC8 is said to be one of the most compact solid rubber tyres available on the Asian market.

CeMAT Asia 2015 started on 27 October and will end on 30 October at the New International Expo Centre in Shanghai. Continental CST is displaying its portfolio in Hall W1 at booth C2-2.
