With a view to the eventual introduction of automated handling and transport solutions, Semcon is to undertake a feasibility study involving the mapping of container movement by truck from container warehouses to the dockside at Yilport’s Gavle, Sweden terminal. This pilot project foreshadows a larger eff ort to develop a fully autonomous logistics production solution for Yilport. Semcon will be assisted in the project by Yeti Move, which will deliver a platform for controlling and monitoring autonomous operations.
