Best-in-class terminals honoured

Presented at the software developer’s Navis World event taking place in San Francisco this week, the Inspire Awards honour terminal operators, ocean carriers and vessel owners “that demonstrate distinction, a commitment to excellence and innovation at their facilities”.

Winners were selected through a combination of peer voting on the Navis Collaboration Center and final evaluation by a judging panel.

Speaking at the event, Andy Barrons, chief strategy officer at Navis, said: “Our customers are constantly innovating and developing their workforce to remain competitive. We are proud to partner with the leading terminals, ocean carriers and other organisations around the globe who offer their customers best-in-class products and services and we are glad we can recognise their work and impact to the industry through the Inspire Awards.”

Individual achievement awards were presented to COSCO Shipping Ports’ Wei Zhang, Ocean Network Express’ Takashi Kase and Long Beach Container Terminal’s Anthony Otto.
