Come to the GreenPort Congress! With a session dedicated to the topic and with presentations relating to port authorities, terminal operators and shipowners, we''ve got it covered!

Following the themes of the ESPO Green Guide – Exemplify, Enable, Engage, Encourage and Enforce, each session will start with two plenary keynote speeches; an overview and a state of play presentation. The session will then breakdown into three working groups which will involve all sectors of the port community: port authorities, port users (terminal operators, logistics companies, shippers, shipping lines etc) and suppliers of equipment and services to the port community. The findings of each group will then be presented by the group moderators to the rest of the audience in a plenary session.

The four main topics to be covered at the 8th GreenPort congress are:

• Waste and materials management in port areas
• Managing the direct impact on the local community
• Environmental reporting and communication

Each session will be moderated by environmental specialists and highlights from the programme include:
