Transnet heads for Kalmar
South Africas Transnet and Kalmar have extended their partnership to tackle South Africas growing container volumes through the order, by Transnet, of 22 rubber-tyred gantry cranes (RTGs) for use at the countrys newest development at the Port of Ngqura.
He stressed the need to clear customs procedures as quickly as possible and hinted that those ports that were unable to do so would disappear.
