Portsmouth port looks to LNG bunkering

The Port of Portsmouth and Lloyd’s Register are working together to establish the port as the UK’s first LNG bunkering facility and hub.

Portsmouth ferry port – Brittany Ferries’ first LNG-fuelled ship will operate from here, while the company has announced its intention to convert others in its fleet for gas operation
