SOLVO wins Bronka contract

The state-of-the-art port is currently under construction in Saint Petersburg and when completed will help to solve the problem of port capacity deficiency in the North-West region of the Russian Federation.

Prior to the building of the terminal five years ago, consultation and expert support for the Port Bronka project was provided by the Hamburg Port Consulting GmbH (HPC) company, which offers its own TOS class solutions.

By way of the tender process and discussion with its German colleagues, Fenix opted in favour of a Solvo TOS because it apparently has a greater adaptability to the Russian stevedoring business.

Solvo said that the combination of its Russian-made TOS solution and the experience of HPC in port projects across the globe, will give port cargo and shipping line owners a new range of services at Bronka Port.

When completed, Bronka Port will house the largest container terminal in Russia with projected turnover of 3m teu per year by 2022.

Solvo.TOS is currently used by more than 20 large ports and terminals across the globe.
