AIRSIS gains satellite data
AIRSIS has signed a global Automatic Identification Service (AIS) distribution agreement with ORBCOMM Incorporated to boost vessel tracking options.
AIRSIS leverages satellite-based and terrestrial AIS communications to give its PortVision subscribers real-time vessel tracking, arrival/departure alerts, and historical reporting and analysis of vessel and terminal activities.
The addition of satellite-based AIS information will significantly expand PortVision’s AIS-based analytics capabilities through global vessel movement data.
