Cargotec smartens up Brazilian terminals
Cargotec is to integrate its SmartLanes process automation solution for gate automation at the Brazilian container terminals Tecon Salvador and Tecon Rio Grande.
Delivered in partnership with APS Technology Group, SmartLanes consists of an Automated Gate System (AGS) and Rail OCR system featuring OCR portals, Driver Kiosks and barrier gates to manage a multi staged automated gate.
The project includes ongoing maintenance and support by Cargotec.
Cargotec has also received an order for four Kalmar E-One2 Zero Emission RTG cranes from Vietnam’s International Transportation and Trading Joint Stock Company to their new port at Phu Huu Ward Dist 9, Ho Chi Minh City. Delivery of the cranes is scheduled for the first quarter of 2013.
