Cargotec unloads more Turkish orders
Cargotec dry bulk handling subsidiary Siwertell has recorded two orders from Turkish operators.
The Black Sea’s Muhammet Gümüstas has ordered a Siwertell 5 000 S, trailer-based, diesel-powered unloader with double bellows system and dust filters, while Medcem Global Pazarlama has ordered two 10 000 S unloaders.
Delivery for both orders is scheduled for later this year.
Meanwhile, Kalmar, also part of Cargotec, has acquired ownership of the Spanish crane refurbishment service company, Mareiport SA as part of its strategy to become a major global player in crane refurbishment.
Kalmar has also won an order for 25 reachstackers from Algeria’s Groupament D’Interêt Commun Des Entreprises Portuaires.
The ports of Annaba, Skikda, Algiers, Mostagannem and Ghazaouet will all benefit from the order, with reachstackers scheduled to be delivered over the rest of the year. The value of the order is approximately E10m.
