Cargotec wins breakthrough unloader contract
Cargotec has secured an order for its largest Siwertell coal unloaders to date.
With a coal feeding rate of 2,4000t/h, the unloaders have been ordered by Formosa Petrochemical Corporation, part of the Formosa Plastics Group.
The two units will be delivered to Formosa Plastics Group’s newly-built Ha Tinh steel plant in Vietnam’s Son Duong Port during the last quarter of 2014.
Cargotec hopes that this order marks the start of a trend for more steel plants using Siwertell machines for dedicated coal unloading.
