First BOXPORTER RMG sold to Luka Koper
Konecranes has signed a deal with the Port of Koper in Slovenia for delivery of its first BOXPORTER rail mounted gantry crane.
Its BOXPORTER RMG has an advanced operating system that gives the operator a clear view over every container move. The operating system also incorporates innovations that have been field-proven by Konecranes in the remote operation of its automated stacking cranes.
Marko Babič, director of Luka Koper Container Terminal, said: “With the BOXPORTER RMG, our crane operators will get better visibility and ergonomics, and thus a better overall driving experience.”
The crane will be delivered in 2017.
