Further automation for Yilport

Following an increase in productivity and turnaround times resulting from the APS Automated Gate System (inaugurated in 2009), Yilport has chosen to extend its automation with additional crane and yard solutions.

The company has limited yard access, which creates challenges in achieving optimum volume levels; however, with this latest system in place the terminal plans to achieve a 20-minute truck turnaround time and an average of 30 moves per crane per hour.
