Gothenburg goes live
The port of Gothenburgs new CATOS terminal management system has, after just a week of the system roll-out, allowed Gothenburg to hit 137 moves per hour at peak.
The software has functions such as real time grounding, dispatching and equipment pooling while the new web interface should also speed up decision making.
In addition to this, Gothenburg has also put into place other systems (all from Total Soft Bank) which manage rail, trucks and vessels.
