Konecranes lighter touch
Konecranes has introduced a lightweight aluminium crane system for applications requiring high precision, less rolling resistance, low noise and corrosion-free extended durability and cleanliness.
Its XA aluminium light crane system is based on high structural stiffness aluminium alloy rail profiles.
The manufacturer claims that the new system’s ergonomic design requires “less effort” to operate, because both rolling resistance and system dead weight are reduced by 50% compared with traditional steel rails.
