New technology with local input
Sydney Ports Corporation in Australia and the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) in the Philippines are both implementing the SensorSmart Platform and related applications.
In Sydney, RAMP, a locally-based regional system integrator is providing RFID technology to track over 3,000 trucks serving the port.
Another local company will be providing MICT with a total RFID based truck tracking system. When completed, over 5,000 trucks will use Identec Solutions’ active RFID tags and sensors for gate automation, location and automated truck / RTG work streams.
