Rope grab purchases for Brazil
Gottwald has recently sold two 4-rope grab Mobile Harbour Cranes for bulk handling to Loxus Granéis Ltda at the Port of Imbituba and Vanzin Serviços Aduaneiros Ltda at the Port of Rio Grande.
The new HMK 260 EG crane for Loxus Granéis is scheduled to begin operation in July 2010 and will be used for handling pet coke. The company was one of the first terminals in Latin America to use Gottwald’s 4-rope grab cranes.
At the Port of Rio Grande Gottwald has been able to gain a new customer with the same model. Vanzin Serviços Aduaneiros Ltda, will use the crane for handling fertilisers and grain.
