SOLVO automation for Odessa

The fully integrated operating system SOLVO.TOS.CONTAINER will enable the terminal to take advantage of cost, efficiency and time savings and provide safety benefits.

SOLVO’s container terminal information system comprises two basic modules. SOLVO.CTMS Container Terminal Management System provides for time efficient scheduling, execution and control of all operations at the terminal. SOLVO.DMS Document Management System automates billing and scheduling of container and vehicle processing.

Planning of container transshipments and additional operation services are performed and then all the data necessary for executing these tasks is backed up for record keeping. SOLVO.CTMS and SOLVO.DMS can be installed independently and work with other external information systems, but as with most of these systems, they are more efficient when used together.

Back in 2011 SOLVO worked on an automation project at the Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT), owned by The National Container Company (NCC).

One of SOLVO’s largest terminal automation projects included the implementation of the container terminal management system at what it calls the “First Container Terminal” seaport in Saint Petersburg.

So far, the company has notched up automation projects at 17 seaport and hinterland terminals.
