Yeysk gets set for cement solution
The Black Sea port of Yeysk is to benefit from a Siwertell 5 000 S mobile unloader for cement-handling operations from February 2014.
UK outfit TAD Enterprises agreed the contract for the unit with Cargotec.
The operator currently uses a pneumatic mobile unloader, but is said to be “not happy with its performance”.
The diesel-powered, trailer-based Siwertell system will be used to load trucks alongside the berth for onward transportation by road. It will be fitted with a double-bellows system for handling cement continuously at a rated capacity of 300t/h.
