New Report Ranks Top-20 Carriers
SeaIntel Maritime Analysis has developed an environmental benchmark index allowing direct comparisonbetween the 20 largest container carriers.
The results are available in a newly released environmental benchmark report.
The benchmark is a combination of the performance of their fleets as well as tangible actions taken to drive their own performance as well as the entire industry performance.
Carriers are rated on a 1 to 5 scale, with scores ranging from 2.14 to 3.87. The top three are Maersk Line (3.87), Hamburg Süd (3.81) and Hyundai Merchant Marine (3.51).
The report includes sections on all top- 20 carriers with details on the scoring on every parameter and costs €EUR549.
