Ailes new vehicles terminal
Spains Aviles port authority is to undertake a feasibility study into building a new vehicles terminal on the southern area of the San Juan Quay.
During the past year, 1,100 new longshoremen were hired, increasing employment for an industry that already supports 228,000 jobs in the region.
The port authority already jointly manages the Venta de Banos dry port in Palencia, with partners the Gijon port authority and Suardiaz, which it will use as the launch platform for the new initiative.
