Cork revisits box terminal project
The Port of Cork is to make a decision in October regarding the location of a $283.7m container terminal.
The authority had previously been refused permission to build the port at Oyster Bank in Ringaskiddy following objections from residents.
This facility was to have entered service in 2013, but is now being put back by at least two years.
The existing Tivoli box terminal has spare capacity for the next five years.
