GENOVA GO-AHEAD

The ZPMC cranes, with a capability of handling containerships stacking 24 containers, were transported from Shanghai to Malta on a dedicated barge. Meanwhile, ZMPC has also delivered the largest container cranes in northern Europe to Göteborg. With a maximum over-water height of 118 m,the three cranes will be the tallest constructions in Göteborg.

The Italian government has made it possible for construction of fourth container terminal to go ahead at the port of Genova. The challenge to the project by Fincosit has been ruled inadmissible.
