IHC Holland Merwede is anticipating a 35% increase in turnover this year on the back on improved results from its dredging, offshore and marine businesses. In a booming year, the companys sales doubled to ¢ 1bn ($1.4bn) in 2006 and net profit tripled to ¢ 31.2m ($42.2m).
