MAASVLAKTE TERMINAL ATTRACTS SIX
The Port of Rotterdam Authority has received six proposals for operation of a 138 ha container terminal on Maasvlakte 2.
Interested parties will have to partially finance construction of the facility, although public investment of ?396.3m is also earmarked.
This terminal will be the first to become operational on the site.
The Authority has also concluded a contract with APM Terminals for the right to operate an opposing terminal on Maasvlakte 2.
